Text
Genesis 50:
15-21: 16 So they sent word to Joseph, saying, "Your father left these
instructions before he died: 17 'This is what you are to say to Joseph: I
ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in
treating you so badly.' Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the
God of your father." When their message came to him, Joseph wept.
Ephisians
4:31 - 5:2: Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and
wrangling and slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another,
tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as
Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and
sacrifice to God.
